How to Play

Level Types

Limited Move Rounds

The faster you make a move, the more points you earn for that move. Earn Additional points by creating straight lines with as few pieces as possible.

Speed Rounds

In these levels you have until the timer at the top of the screen runs down to get as many points as you can. When the timer runs out the round is over.

Bonus Points

Glass Honeycomb Bonus

Some levels have glass honeycomb pieces. If you break all the glass pieces in the level, you earn an additional 2,000 points. To break the glass, form lines with the honeycomb that include the glass pieces. Once a full line is formed the glass piece will break.

Bonus Goals

Some levels have extra bonus goals. Complete the goals and earn a Goal Bonus worth 2,000 points.

Star Bonuses

All levels have target score levels that when you reach each star level add 500 bonus points to your final score for that round.

Boosts

Bonus Moves

Click to add 5 moves to the move counter in a level.

Timer Boost

Click to add 5 seconds to the level timer in a level.

Shrink Boost

Click to shrink your current piece of honeycomb into a smaller piece.

Bee Bomb

Click and drag the bomb onto a honeycomb piece that is already on the board to destroy it.

Color Magic

Click to open a color option icon that can be used to change the color of two pieces of honeycomb before playing them during the game.

Why Honey Maker is a Predominately Skill Based Game

Your score is directly dependent on your speed and accuracy while placing the game pieces onto the playing field.
The players in a tournament all play the same levels with the same in game boosts. No player has the ability to obtain additional boosts for an unfair advantage.
